Proposal Associate

Global financial services company seeks a Proposal Associate to support and managed all aspects of multiple Request for Proposal process from inception to delivery of final copy. Will respond to inquiries / questions, write / edit answers, interact with all levels of staff, across multiple business functions, to ensure quality delivery of proposals.



  • Create, prepare and coordinate RFPs from prospective and existing clients

  • Answer questionnaires, respond to special requests as well as develop regular / ad hoc reports

  • Work closely with SMEs from different departments to craft language to be used in all RFP responses

  • Update and maintain databases with company information

  • Use various software programs for document preparation and data gathering

  • Interface across departments to resolve issues


Required:



  • 4-year degree strongly preferred

  • Possess strong verbal communication and writing skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and organized

  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and deadline driven pace

  • High intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines

  • Strong quantitative skill

  • Excellent client relations experience

  • Preferred: experience in proposal, technical or business writing or CFA designation

  • Plus: knowledge of financial concepts and investments

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
