Youth Specialist On Call - SPA 3 - (TT12073)

The role of the Youth Specialist is to provide care, supervision and behavioral interventions that develop coping and problem solving skills, teach social skills and teach transference of those skills into the home, school and community. These interventions are provided to maintain youth in the residential group home milieu. These interventions are developed within the collaborative planning process and are prescribed by the program.
High School diploma and three years experience with SED children
AA degree and two years experience with SED children
Bachelor's degree preferred
Must have skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds
Maintain a non-judgmental attitude toward families
Maintain required licenses and certifications to perform role
Ability to pass health, fingerprint and DMV clearance.
Personal cell phone required. Employee will receive monthly stipend.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
