The Senior Accountant will assume, but not be limited to, the following
Responsibilities:
Assists in performing month-end closing of books, preparation of income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and management reports.
Completes all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly investment accounting functions including the posting of all investment purchases and maturities and ensures that proper documentation is maintained in investment files.
Updates the loan analytics tool (nCino) on a monthly basis and ensures that the model is reconciled and up to date.
Runs reports, balance and record ACL schedule.
Assists with third party vendor for ALM and ProfitStar analysis by reconciling and submitting monthly files.
Prepares and assists in the preparation of regulatory agency and governmental reports, including the call report, Federal Reserve FR 2900 Report, and the Business Property Tax Return and supporting worksheets.
The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:
Equivalent to a BA or BS degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, business, accounting, etc.
) preferred Five to eight years of similar or related experienceStrong knowledge of basic accounting processesProficient in Microsoft Office application skills specifically Excel and Word.
Strong interpersonal skills employing courtesy, tact and diplomacy when dealing with credit union staff and outside vendors, auditors, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
