Occupational Therapy/NICU:
The primary responsibility of the Occupational Therapist I is to provide direct patient care upon physician referral.
Home Health:
The Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic services in accordance with physician's orders to patients having upper extremity impairment, deficits in ADL ability, diseases or disorders requiring energy conservation and diseases or disorders requiring re-education of swallowing mechanism.

Required SkillsOccupational Therapy:
Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care.
Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults.
NICU:
Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care.
Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults.
Basic splinting skills preferred.
CPR certification.
Home Health:
Cognizant of home health standards and practices, including, but not limited to assessments specific to discipline and documentation requirements.

Required:
Registered or eligible for registration by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Must maintain a current California occupational therapist license.
No experience required.
Preferred:
Basic Windows and mouse skills preferred.
Basic splinting skills preferred.
NICU:
Required:
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Graduate of a program in occupational therapy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc.
(AOTA), or successor organizations of the ACOTE.
Eligible to take, or has successfully completed the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
(NBCOT).
Minimum of two (2) years' experience.
Current CPR card.
Current California driver's license.
Valid automobile insurance.
Preferred:
