Summary:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and reporting on research projects relating to Five Acres services and outcomes for use in management decision-making to improve quality of services.
Additionally, oversees the collection, entry, and validation of agency clinical data into internal and external systems.
Essential Duties:
Leads planning and completion of Five Acres research and program evaluation projects to support agency operations and continuous quality improvement (CQI) Works with leadership to gather clear and concise requirements for specialized data reporting requests and documents specifications in an organized manner Takes a lead role in developing data collection and record keeping systems for Research and Clinical Training Department.
Maintains computer files containing client and program data.
Heads agency outcome measurement activities, including training, scoring, and distributing client assessments to appropriate staff, and entering data into required systems.
Oversees and provides technical assistance to other agency staff conducting data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
Implements methods to provide feedback to program staff and managers about outcome data to improve quality of services at Five Acres; provides on-going technical support to programs concerning outcome measures and quality improvement.
Conducts data analyses and creates user-friendly data presentations summarizing results of statistical analyses.
Disseminates findings and trends to Five Acres staff, provider network, and other stakeholders at internal and external meetings.
Develops proficiency in software applications utilized by the Research and Clinical Training Department, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
), SPSS, R, TOAD Data Point, Welligent, and Survey Monkey.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and work with multiple teams.
Exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have:
BA or BS degree in Psychology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field.
Prior research or program evaluation experience Working knowledge of SPSS, R, and Microsoft Access Intermediate user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Working knowledge of SQL programming language Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff.
Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
Prior experience in child welfare or mental health (preferred).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
